Those that complain about the level bashing of lvl 60 vs lower, have probably never played the game itself, or quit the first time they died. Because you dont have to be lvl 60 to kick ass.

What Treewalker just said is that GW is more a tactic, team-based game than WoW, but I love versatality.
My vote goes to WoW

GW has GVG which I think is better anything WoW has unless you count raiding major cities like ogrimmar or SW.

WoW has raiding parties. That beats EVERYTHING. I know a server where the Horde has taken half the Alliance territory. There's nothing that gives me such a thrill as a huge nation fight in WoW in GW... WoW still has my vote

The raiding parties are exactly why I don't like WoW, actually.

Those are fun, but I made my main character on a PVE server, which I regret.

i used to be an avid GW fan, until i decided to try WoW as something to keep me from smoking(the 50c a day WoW costs is alot cheaper than the $5-6 a day i was paying for cigarettes) and while i didnt care for pvp in GW, due to the extreme rudeness of the people who BEAT me for gods sake, and the fact that i dont know enough of what i am doing to beat anyone hardly in pvp, PvP is much different in WoW, although alliance seems to get whupped in Battleground most of the time, the PvP server i play on is hilarious, i currently have a level 30 elf rogue, and i can stalk people well over my level, wait for them to get into a fight with a monster, and stab them in the back, like 2,3 hits they are dead, and if they have someone with them, i can just vanish, at which point i can taunt them with emotes, to which they cannot respond, then follow them for a while, then kill them when they think i am gone, of course there is a certain point where a level difference will make you a little outclassed, but i have seen hordes of low level alliance characters swarm two level 40+ characters before and tear them to pieces, so in my opinion, PvP is a bit more fun, where your imagination can actually give you an advantage, rather than using the latest cookie cutter builds over and over, and as for the whole, farming to pvp thing, i can get good equipment on WoW with much less farming than it took on GW.....
whats more, level 60 rogue vs a 40 warrior with plate, two hits max if he backstabs him, the warrior wouldnt last for 5 seconds

I don't know why people compare the 2. They're both different genres of RPG. It's like comparing apples with tomatoes, they're similar but not from the same group of foods particulary...
Guild Wars was meant for PvP, as its logo states skills are more important than leveling (WoW).
WoW is just a typical grind monthly pay game and people first got it because of the success of the RTS games of Warcraft which I can predict will be discontinued due to WoW's success.
DaoC is a VERY similar grind game I believe, Star Wars Galaxies is a monthly payment RPG as well, people just picked WoW because of the larger crowd. The game itself is just a typical grind game among many others. GW is a new style of RPG being developed where skill factors into the game over leveling and time played.
WoW is a great game I'm sure and based on what I've heard from it, I just don't understand why people in GW believe WoW is such a big rival when in WoW they rather enjoyed GW for a temporary time or just never heard of it. WoW is just... different. You can't compare the 2 in which is better.
In my opinion, Guild Wars is better for PvP oriented gameplay. It's PvE is also solid, I don't care what people say they are just lazy to explore Tyria and socialize with groups to hunt down for skill capping or helping others do quests in return for perhaps money or something of the sort.
WoW PvE is like any other grind game, spend countless hours leveling up while doing magnificent journeys along the way making the RPG experience great. But I'm sure GW would be the same if they charged monthly.
I remember I once tried a trial version of DaoC (Dark age of Camelot) and it was the same thing. Just no PvP in the world where it was not enforced. This prevents PK'ing which is approved by many for more fun. DaoC also had good PvP battles to offer but it was based on how long you spent to build up your character and it was mostly a solo type deal where you don't tend to rely on each other but on your pure selves.
GW is a rock/paper/scissors game. No build is dominant, quite balanced compared to other titles' PvP systems, and team work is essential in GW unlike other games.
WoW is more of a game for an aggresive crowd who loves competition and taunting which I hate. That ruins the fun. WoW is a game to PK, raid and ruin others' gaming experience and GW is a friendly RPG that offers balanced gameplay.
